Bioimplant may soon be used to regenerate bone and cartilage tissue. It is manufactured from a biodegradable material that has increased durability. Its shape will be the same as the bone cavity of a particular patient, developed based on the patient’s examination. The biological scaffold will be printed on a 3D printer, colonized with stem cells collected from the patient and implanted in place of the defect.
