On 24th April 2016, the television channel TVN24bis issued a documentary about the Japanese artist-prosthetist Shintaro Hayashi.

He helps people who lost their body parts as a result of accidents or diseases, creating genuinely-looking artificial fingers, ears, hands and feet. His prostheses, which realistically reproduce wrinkles and veins, have become an inseperable part of these people’s lives. Because silicone prostheses need to be replaced every few years, Hayashi builds long-term relationships with his customers. His motto: “Be an escort runner in their lives.”

The president of Materials Care, mgr inż. Bartłomiej Wysocki, was invited as an expert to discuss this topic.
